Pickup from hotel. Cheung Chau is a small island located about 10 km southwest of Hong Kong with a number of fascinating places. Sightseeing of the island will be done on foot and by public transportation. Starting with Pak Tai Temple, built in 1783, which is dedicated to a Taoist god and features traditional Chinese elements such as ceramic figurines on the roof ridges, good luck wall paintings, fortune motifs on the murals and stone lions in the courtyard. During the tour, there will also be an opportunity to admire the rock carvings on Tung Wan Beach, which is a popular spot for swimming, windsurfing and kayaking. The 3,000-year-old Bronze Age sculptures are located near the water's edge and depict intriguing geometric shapes and abstract images of animals. Return to hotels.
