Drive to the city of Alghero, located on the west coast of Sardinia. Stroll through the old town with its beautiful cathedral. The original Catalan-Gothic architecture of the old town is a remnant of the time when Sardinia was under Spanish rule. Free time (about 1 hour) for photos and shopping. Then drive along a scenic route to the charming town of Bosa, located on the Temo River. Overlooking the town is the beautiful castle Castello di Malaspina dating back to the 12th century. Walk along the promenade along the river, from where you can admire the old neighborhood of Sas Conzas with its now defunct tanneries, to the old town with the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. Free time for a possible tasting of a local delicacy, namely Malvasia di Bosa, a delicious dessert wine that helped make the city famous. Return to the hotel.
