Program Description

Get ready for a unique journey through eastern Bali, where you will discover places filled with history, spirituality and breathtaking views. The tour is the perfect choice if you want to explore the island’s most important temple and experience traditions that are still alive today. It’s a day full of contrasts - from royal heritage to sacred sites at the foot of a volcano.

You will start with a visit to Klungkung - the former royal seat dating back to the 17th century. Although only parts of the complex remain today, you can still feel the atmosphere of its former glory. The palace was once surrounded by moats, gardens and elegant pavilions, and its history is closely linked to the colonial period and events of the early 20th century.

Next, you will visit Goa Lawah, also known as the Bat Cave Temple, founded in the 11th century by a Hindu monk. This is one of the most intriguing places on the island - the temple is set by a cave inhabited by thousands of bats, giving it a unique and slightly mysterious atmosphere.

Your journey continues to Tenganan - a traditional Bali Aga village where residents still preserve ancient customs and ways of life. As you walk through the village, you will notice its distinctive architecture and discover local crafts that have remained unchanged for generations.

Along the way, you will stop at Bukit Jambul viewpoint, offering panoramic views of lush hills and terraced landscapes. It’s a perfect moment to relax and capture some unforgettable photos.

The highlight of the day will be a visit to Besakih Temple - the largest and most important temple complex in Bali, located on the slopes of Mount Agung. This sacred site has played a key role in the spiritual life of the island for centuries. Despite being damaged by volcanic eruptions in 1917 and 1963, it has always been rebuilt by devoted worshippers, which reflects its deep significance.

During the tour, you will also enjoy lunch - a great opportunity to relax and recharge before continuing your exploration.
